Duxford – Counting the Cost II

The second last section of the Air Show was called “Counting the Cost”.

“Sally B” is the UK’s last remaining airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress.

Here you see her passing with open bomb bay doors. This year 2015 sees the 70th birthday of Sally B but also the 40th flying season in the UK.

“Sally B” is permanently based at Duxford.

It was truly great…
